Apex Legends: Weapons
I had the privilege to work on some of the tools of destruction available to players in Apex, everything from UX Design for the weapons themselves, or the intricacies of the weapons upgrades/special abilities.
Below are some of the weapons & weapon-adjacent features I provided UX Design for in Apex Legends.
Bocek Compound Bow
Released alongside Sparrow in Season 25, the Bocek Compound Bow received a series of updates/rework to coincide with the launch of the new season. Such changes include returning the bow to the standard loot-pool, an additional passive boost for Sparrow, and my personal favorite- the ability to launch explosive arrows.
Ultimate Accelerator Hopup
Though not technically a weapon, the Ultimate Accelerator Hopup was a new addition to certain weapons within Apex Legends that significantly altered the gameplay with the weapons that featured this new hopup; upon doing damage to an enemy with a weapon that had the hopup built in, the player's Ultimate would charge much faster with each successful shot hit.
